Tammy Megison, Cofounder & Vice President of Operations
A Chicago native, Tammy moved west in the early 1980s to attend Eldorado College, from which she graduated with a degree in business administration. She met Solutions co-founder Chris Megison while he was on active duty in the Marine Corps, they married in 1993, and after his retirement from the Marine Corps they became involved for seven years in a homeless organization focused on helping adult males with addiction issues. Determined to do something about solving family homelessness rather than just treating the symptoms, the Megisons founded Solutions for Change and began building an innovative model that grew into Solutions University. A mother of four children, three grown and one an active volunteer at Solutions for Change, Tammy combines knowledge, strength and serenity to provide a strong anchor point for the organization.

VP of Transformational Impact
Jennifer joined Solutions for Change in 2010 with her two daughters, McKenzie and Maggie, following a rough road with drug addiction. She graduated in 2012 and joined our team as an Empowerment Aid, serving students as they first come in. During her 10 year tenure here Jennifer has held several different positions from workforce development at our Aquaponics farm to Solutions in the Community, bringing our impact to the people. Jennifer now serves on a broader spectrum at Solutions for Change as the VP of Transformational Impact as well as being on our Senior Management Team. These days you will find her teaching formerly homeless men and women, many of whom are seeking redemption, how to see themselves as assets instead of liabilities and most importantly, how to be Servant Leaders. She knows how much this guidance can mean for someone who is on their journey out of homelessness – after all, this was very much the place she was in when she herself came to Solutions.
