Each evening, volunteers have the opportunity to welcome and bless our newest families by providing and serving dinner. This meaningful experience allows individuals, families, community groups, and organizations of all ages to serve together while building connections with the families in our program.
How Does It Work?
Volunteers arrive at our main campus (722 W. California Ave., Vista) at 4:45 p.m. to set up. Dinner is served from 5:00–6:00 p.m.
As a dinner host, your group will provide the meal, beverages, plates, utensils, cups, and serving utensils. Approximately one week before your scheduled date, you will receive a final headcount of adults and children. Please plan to serve approximately 25 people.
Please note: For the safety of our families, all food must be prepared in a commercial kitchen or by a licensed caterer, restaurant, or church with a permitted kitchen.
Available dates for the upcoming month are listed below. If you have any questions or would like to reserve a date further in advance, please contact us at volunteer@solutionsforchange.org.
