Solutions Farms is moving to a new, and better, location with new and varied food selections to better serve our student residents and community partners.

The farm will continue to be a central part of our program while allowing us to continue the operation more efficiently, more effectively and closer to home for our students. We remain committed to providing world class employment training opportunities to our academy students and continue to provide healthy food options for our students and community.

Learn & Volunteer

Volunteering at Solutions Farms can be a life-changing experience. Learn about aquaponics farming technology as you work with your hands — seeding, transplanting, and harvesting in our 20,000 square foot greenhouse, then get out in the fresh air on our 2.1 acres of farmland…there’s always work to be done on the farm! Working alongside the empowered moms and dads and hearing their stories of overcoming will bring you closer to what truly matters in life — relationships, people, and gratitude.

Intern & Educational Opportunities

A Solutions Farms' internship allows students the ability to explore opportunities in the aquaponics, social enterprise, and nonprofit fields. As an intern, you can grow your skills in agriculture and education and at the same time make a difference. Every day at the Farm we are growing delicious, organic produce as well as  lifting the most vulnerable individuals out of the Churn of dependency and homelessness. 

Aquaponics Tech Intern

The Aquaponics Tech Intern will report the Enterprise Manager and the Maintenance team to help support our decoupled aquaponics system. The intern will assist with existing systems as well as expansion projects. The intern will help provide research with new innovations to create more efficiencies in workforce development and product. The Tech will work closely with the Farm Technician and the Farm ERT Manager. See more...

Farm Communications & Education Intern

The Education Intern will report to the Enterprise Manager to help research and develop Solutions Farms education programs to include school field trips, community visits/tours, and agri vocational tracks for Academy students. See more...
