Solutions for Change Names New Board of Directors

Vista — Solutions for Change, a San Diego non-profit dedicated to solving family homelessness, has named new member David H. Crean, Ph.D., M.B.A. as chairman of its Board of Directors. In addition, the organization has named Mark Fingerlin, Leanne Abraham and Jack Landers to its Board.
Dr. Crean is a managing director of healthcare and life sciences at Objective Capital Partners, LLC where he leads the firm’s investment banking transactions, with a focus on companies with enterprise values up to $500 million. Dr. Crean has more than 25 years of of life sciences R&D and corporate development transaction experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry where he was responsible for leading mergers, acquisitions, licensing and collaborations, and establishing corporate strategy.
Dr. Crean has executive leadership experience in non-profit management as the former Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito. Under his leadership, the organization was awarded Non-Profit of the Year by the North San Diego Business Chamber in 2014 and a Gateway to Impact Gold Award in 2015.
Leanne Abraham is the founder and president of Premierehire, an executive search, staffing solutions, HR counseling firm. She brings a diverse background including experience in executive leadership, marketing, operations, finance and sales that help organizations attract, recruit and retain quality talent.
Mark Fingerlin has more than 40 years of corporate leadership and naval aviation experience. He chairs a CEO-peer advisory board for Vistage International, the leading CEO support organization. In this role, Fingerlin serves as facilitator and executive coach to help CEOs become better leaders, make better decisions and achieve better results. Previously, he served as founder and principal consultant for The Northstar Group, a consultancy focused on corporate strategic planning and capital formation. Prior to that, he worked with Montecito Bank and Trust where he established the Wealth Management Group. He served as the bank’s executive vice president and chief investment officer.
For the past 18 years, Jack Landers, a management liability insurance specialist (MLIS), has provided insurance and risk management to businesses across a wide range of industries in San Diego County.

Solutions for Change is a social sector market disrupter. This 1000 day intensive educational and employment retraining model takes dependent families in the deepest of poverty in America and solves their homelessness permanently. The effort has created generational transformation for over 2000 children in 800 families since 1999.
