Children Shopping Day

By February 5, 2015Christmas

On December 11th, 2015, children will “shop” for their parents Christmas presents. Our Toy Drive and Angel Trees bring in lots of toys and clothes for kids and teens, but what about the parents? At this point, we have zero presents for parents. This is where we could use your help. The next time you go to Target or Walmart or your favorite shopping center, think about picking up something for one of our parents. Here’s a list of ideas to get you started.

• Body Lotion set
• Baseball cap
• Beanie
• Coffee Mug
• Water jug
• Frying pan
• Coffee
• Coffee maker
• Picture frames
• Jewelry
• Watch
• Egg beater
• Kitchen stuff
• Shaving set
• Umbrella
• Hair dryer
• Flat iron
• Kitchen towels
• Stationary
• Movie passes
• Restaurant gift cards
• Manicure gift card
• Coffee house gift card
• Perfume
• Body spray
• Lotion
• Lunch totes
• Picture frames
• Tools
• Calendars
• Day planners
• Nail polish
• Wallets
• Pajamas
• Hoodie

Bring your new, unwrapped parent gift to Solutions for Change by December 8 so we can include it in our Children’s Shopping store on the 11th. Thanks!

We’d also appreciate wrapping paper, bows, ribbons and tape for the wrapping station we’ll have set up so the kids can take home beautifully wrapped gifts for mom and dad.
