Congressman’s Testimonial on the Solutions University

Wednesday, January 5th, 2011

The Issa Family Foundation is one of our biggest supporters. Here is Congressman Darrell Issa’s testimonial on our model to solve family homelessness, “Solutions for Change has forged a model to provide permanent long-term solutions for homeless children and families. It’s a model that other communities across the country will be able to replicate.”

We are grateful for leaders like this that have the belief in our model and who have seen first hand the benefits of the Solutions University on their communities.

Company CEO Mark King learned about the nonprofit through his daughter, who planned a fundraiser for the organization at her high school.

At his suggestion, TaylorMade-adidas pledged to contribute $1 million. King also chairs the group’s Finding Our Way Home program, which is raising $20 million to expand the program regionally and across the country.
